  • Black tea is a dark, bold, full-bodied drink made from fully oxidized leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. Its flavor varies by region, typically offering malty, astringent, or sweet notes. Some types, like Assamor Darjeeling, have earthy flavors, while others, like Earl Grey, feature floral or citrus hints. Enjoyed plain or with milk, sugar, or lemon, black tea is both comforting and energizing. Black tea is a type of tea that undergoes full oxidation, resulting in a dark, often malty flavor and a rich, reddish-brown color. It's made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, like other teas, but the leaves are allowed to oxidize fully before drying, which distinguishes it from green tea. Black teas are known for their bold, robust flavor, which can range from malty and sweet to brisk and citrusy, depending on the type and region of origin. Some popular black tea blends include English Breakfast and Earl Grey.  Black tea contains caffeine, but generally less than coffee.
